Western Power reported: ‘We are aware of this power cut incident which was raised at 4:40am this morning and our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you.’
At lunch time Western power said: ‘There is currently a fault on our underground network, we are working hard to resolve the issue.
By mid afternoon they recorded areas in TQ12 would have their power restored by 4pm and they had by shortly after 4.30pm.
Western Power added: ‘We are sorry for any inconvenience that was caused by the power cut.’
