a major building project is set to transform St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Buckfast.

The £750,000 phase one of the building work will see the construction of a new classroom, early years outdoor area, reception area, staff room and new school office.

The work is due to be completed by SML Contracts by next spring.

The second phase will see a hall added to the school, as well as an outdoor classroom with amphitheatre, which will enhance pupils' opportunities for external learning.
