A south Devon charity that cares for more than 1,000 sick and homeless animals each year has revealed a £1.5million vision for the future.
Planning permission to redevelop the Animals in Distress rescue centre, Ipplepen, has been applied for.
If granted it would mean vastly better conditions and a clear indication of the groups direction.
Among the hoped-for improvements are a new reception, education centre and staff accommodation. Also on the wish list are a new cattery, rabbit and guinea pig building, rescue kennels and clinic.
