A skate park costing nearly £90,000 was officially opened on Teignmouth promenade last night.
The skate park is the product of years of planning, fundraising and design.
It has been built with neighbours in mind, using low-noise concrete for ramps and a low-level recessed design, bordered by existing walls and tall plants.
The facility, on the site of the former disused paddling pool, was opened by Cllr Stephen Purser, chairman of Teignbridge Council.<
