PLANNERS have granted a Kenn pub permission to build an overflow car park.
The Ley Arms’ application was approved by Teignbridge District Council today, Thursday, June 5.
25/00199/FUL sought a new space for cars to the back of the existing car park and adjacent to the River Kenn.
The decision notice states that the ‘development hereby permitted shall begin before the expiry of three years from the date of this permission’.
A popular haunt for many, the 17th century, thatched pub is just off the A38.
The pub, which also has several rooms on offer, recently made the final five of the Muddy Stilettos awards in the ‘Best Boutique Stay’ category.
