A MUCH-anticipated planning inquiry decision on Buckfastleigh's Whitecleave Quarry development has been put back by at least six weeks.
Planning inspector John Woolcock was expected to make his verdict known on September 1.
But the deadline came and went without a whisper.
Now it has been revealed that the town will have to remain on tenterhooks until at least the middle of October.
