IN recognition of his service and support for the Royal British Legion, David Cair, the Newton Abbot branch’s vice chairman, was presented with a certificate.
This was at the well attended annual meeting of the Newton Abbot Branch in the British Legion Club.
Richard Underhill was returned as branch chairman, David Cair as vice chairman, Nicola Cair as secretary, David Harcombe was appointed as treasurer and Mike Leaman as branch community support representative.
At the meeting a message was read from the county chairman and the branch officers gave their reports.
The branch Three Year Plan was scrutinised and approved and the updated branch bylaws were adopted.
During the meeting Devon County vice chairman Yasmin Gibbins presented the branch vice chairman David Cair with a Devon County President’s Certificate of Commendation in recognition of his service to and support of the Royal British Legion.
