The committee of Teignmouth Regatta has thanked all its supporters after a successful week of events.

This year’s Teignmouth Regatta began last Sunday (August 3) with a family fun run and events throughout the week included the popular Floaty McFloaty race, dinghy rowing, raft races and a crab catching competition as well as land-based activities such as a family treasure hunt, dog show, sports day, pavement art and a sandcastle competition.

‘Our aim is to always keep our events free for children to enter and we couldn’t do this without many local businesses, friends, colleagues, and those of you who buy our raffle tickets,’ said a spokesperson from the Teignmouth Regatta committee.

Next year’s Teignmouth Regatta takes place from Sunday, August 2 to Sunday, August 9 2026.
