A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of ­Newton Abbot resident Adrian Munday, 51.

Stuart Hodgkin, 40, originally from Basingstoke, was remanded in custody after appearing before magistrates in Plymouth.

He will appear before a judge at crown court on Monday, November 9.

Mr Munday, 51, was found dead at a house in Wain Lane, Newton Abbot, after a fire at the property on October 6.
