RESIDENTS of Shaldon will have the opportunity to meet a parish councillor and raise local issues at a community drop-in session next month.
The event will take place during the regular coffee morning at The Hub from 11am until midday on Monday, July 6.
Councillor Danielle Westlake will be on hand to answer questions and discuss matters affecting the village.
Shaldon Parish Council said the initiative will be held on the first Monday of each month, subject to bank holidays, giving residents a regular opportunity to engage directly with elected representatives.
Established in 1984, Shaldon Parish Council consists of seven councillors elected every four years.
The village, situated on the Teign Estuary, is known for its conservation area, scenic landscape and proximity to the coastal protection area.
