NEW mayor of Kingsteignton Cllr John Foxwell has kicked off his campaign to take the council to the people.

His vision to get residents more involved in the working of the town council began with the town council having a stand at the bank holiday ram roasting fair.

Councillors took it in turns to man the stall, answering questions and asking for opinions on several projects the council is looking at.
