A MEETING of an action group campaigning to protect fields from development has been brought forward by a half hour.

Protect Bishopsteignton Action Group were scheduled to host an upcoming meeting at the Community Centre in the village at 7.30pm on Monday, February 20.

However the meeting has been brought forward to 7pm.

The Teignbridge Local Plan 2020 - 2040, on pages 163 and 164, earmarks Forder Lane Fields and Bakers Yard as sites for housing development: 55 houses for the former and 15 for the latter.

Protect Bishopsteignton Action Group are urging residents to attend the meeting, which is to be held in the Robinson Room at the Community Centre, and air their views.
