TEIGNMOUTH RNLI continue their summer fundraising programme with an open gardens event at Ugbrooke House, the ancestral home of Lord Clifford of Chudleigh.

The beautiful grounds and gardens, designed by Capability Brown, will be open on Sunday.

There are acres of glorious lakeside and parkland walks to enjoy, and the lifeboat fundraising team will be on hand serving homemade cakes and refreshments in the picturesque orangery, and there will be entertainment from the Newton Bushell Morris Dancers, classic cars to view, and stalls selling souvenirs and collectables.

The gates are open from 11am to 4pm, and entry is £5 for adults, and free for accompanied children.  

Tours of the house will be available for a small extra charge, with all the money raised  going towards the lifeboat.
