THE Teignmouth penthouse apartments with a £1 million price tag and a view to match have been bought.

The eye-catching accommodation on top of the 184-year-old grade-two listed Riviera building are to become luxury holiday lets after standing empty for about two years.

Ralph Brown, 45, who already owns the Riviera, and whose wife Vicky runs the seafront Beachcomber cafe, finally struck a deal to buy the five rooftop homes, which are now a landmark.
