DAWLISH Rotary Club has given its backing to the town's memory cafe.

The venture has got up and running, with meetings – which are designed for anybody who has problems with their memory or their carers – held every fourth Tuesday at Sefton Hall (2pm to 4pm).

Rotary club secretary Colin Timms said that they will be supporting the project for the next 12 months.

Mr Timms has also pledged to attend sessions in person on a regular basis.
