CELEBRATIONS to mark the Queen’s 90th Birthday are continuing in Newton Abbot this weekend with a tea in the park event.

The town’s Courtenay Park will be home to the royal event tomorrow (Sunday, June 12) from 1.30pm-4.30pm.

The afternoon will see entertainment from the Newton Bushell Morris Dancers followed by live music from the Bay Brass.

Those turning up to join in the festivities are being invited to bring a picnic.

A Pimms tent will be on hand as well as catering vans.

People are being encouraged to participate in an optional ‘through the ages’ fancy dress theme.
