RUGBY clubs are favourite haunts of beer lovers, and they will be in for a treat when flavoursome top ales and ciders arrive in force at the Teignmouth ground next week.

The South Devon CAMRA sunshine beer and cider festival will be held there on three days from July 25-27, with more than 75 brews from across Devon and the UK.

The event will support the RNLI, and will also include a gin and wine bar, music from Manuka, Crazy Goat, and the Exmouth Shanty Men, plus family entertainment such as pig racing and face painting.

It will be open from 11am to 11pm.

The Campaign for Real Ale is a non-profit making organisation which has been promoting quality ales and pubs since 1971, and has around 200,000 members.
