RUN for a good ‘Claus’ say the organisers of Bovey Tracey’s Santa Dash, which is officially back for 2021.
Hundreds of people are set to dress up as Father Christmas across the town all getting into the festive spirit.
The run is in aid of Bovey Tracey Lifesaving Club and Bristol Children’s Hospital.
This year, it will take place on December 11 and will start and finish at Josie’s Ice Cream Parlour. The running will start at 3pm and is expected to end at 5pm.
There are two different ‘dash’ distances for people to choose from, either 5km or 2km.
After you’ve spread some Christmas cheer through the town, there’s free mulled wine, mince pies and festive singing at the end.
Ticket prices vary depending on the age of the ‘Santa’ taking part.
An adult ticket is £12 with a youth Santa ticket for those between the ages of eight and 13 costing £8.
If you have a ‘child elf’ taking part who is between the ages five to eight, then a ticket will cost £6.
Children taking part under the age of four can make a donation and fees will be deducted from your donation amount.
