ONLINE registration for The Colour Rush Teignmouth closes on Sunday (June 4), but Rowcroft has confirmed registration will be open on the day.
The popular event is taking place at The Den on June 11.
All those aged over eight-years-old can sign up to take part in The Colour Rush Teignmouth.
Daniel Robson, of Rowcroft, said: ‘We’re delighted to announce we still have a limited number of places left for our Colour Rush Teignmouth.
‘If you’d like to complete a beautiful 5k route along the beach, while being blasted with brightly coloured powder paint, then we’d love to see you there.’
The day before the run, on Saturday June 10, Rowcroft will be holding a family fun day, with live music from a number of local bands performing on The Den as part of the hospice’s new event, Sound Waves.
Daniel added: ‘We’re incredibly excited to be bringing another new event to Teignmouth, Sound Waves.
‘We’re planning a full day of fun for the whole family, with local bands Harbour, Three Bags Full, The Kaizens, and The Mogs among many who’ll be performing between midday and 9pm.
‘The whole day is free to attend and we promise it’s one not to be missed, so grab your picnic blanket, some good friends and your biggest smiles and join in the family fun and frolics.’
A huge prize draw will also be running across the weekend, at Sound Waves and The Colour Rush Teignmouth.
Prizes include an overnight stay at The Orestone Manor; sailing charter on The Vigilance; three-month Gold membership to Winners 2000; and a gin making workshop courtesy of Salcombe Gin.
Both Sound Waves and The Colour Rush Teignmouth are among a series of efforts Rowcroft is taking to continue raising vital funds following its funding shortfall last summer.
Rachael Bryett, head of fundraising, said: ‘We recently announced the local community had shown us the most incredible support by helping us raise £605,000 for our urgent fundraising appeal.
‘However, the next few months will be crucial for the hospice so we ask that all those who can please continue to support us in whatever way they can; including spending an afternoon getting covered in paint or listening to amazing local artists on Teignmouth seafront.’
