BISHOPSTEIGNTON Primary School is on the look out for new govenors to share ideas.

Since expanding to seven classes with 210 pupils, the school is on the hunt for people to help shapre the school and ensure it has a bright future.

Governors are volunteers from the community who offer a range of skills to the school including education, finance, personnel and business experience.

A spokesman for the school said: ‘We are looking for enthusiastic people who can spare some of their free time and have a skill that could benefit our school.

‘Govenors will receive training from the school and Devon County Council.’
