SCOUT groups around the world have been responding through fundraising and action to help the victims of the devastating earthquakes in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.In Teignbridge the 1st LUSTLEIGH SCOUT GROUP has been holding various fundraising events, including coffee mornings, a cake stall and litter picking in local car parks.On Saturday it was elbow grease all the way for the group who tackled 60 cars in a sponsored car wash outside the Cleave Inn and raised £525. They also sold teas and cakes.So far they have brought in £890.85 and have handed over £490 for a ShelterBox for the Earthquake Appeal and are well on their way to getting another.
