A YOUNG Teignmouth man who was killed in the Plymouth blitz during World War Two has been remembered.
Leonard George Hamlyn desperately wanted to follow his father into the Royal Navy, but was too young at 15.
On Saturday, a short memorial service was held at his graveside and a wreath laid by Cllr Sylvia Russell, the president of the Canonteign Sea Cadets unit.See full story in the Friday, April 28 edition of the Teignmouth Post
