The last meeting of the year but one for Dawlish & Teignmouth Camera Club is always the presentation and social evening. It was held last Wednesday, when guest of honour Ray Moore presented the prizes. Mr Moore is on the Awards for All, South West, Adjudication Panel. After the prize-giving, members and guests enjoyed some slides, digital photos entered into the first inter club competition and an audio-visual of the photos taken by members at the Teignmouth Folk Festival and put together by Stan Newton. Tonight is the annual meeting for club members. The start of the new season for the camera club meetings will be Wednesday, September 13. Just prior to that is the summer exhibition at Teignmouth Library where work of all standards will be on display. The exhibition starts on August 7 and runs for two weeks. Last week the Print of the Year competition was held and judged by Ken Rowley of Newton Abbot. The winners were: Colour print of the year: 1 P Sillifant, 2 P Gale, 3 K Bradley.
