Children in Bovey Tracey now have their very own direct line to Father Christmas.

The town’s carnival committee has teamed up for the first time this year with the jovial bringer of gifts, and has placed a special post box in the Jolly Roger Lifesize Models showroom.

The lucky children of Bovey Tracey can now send their letters directly to Father Christmas at the North Pole via ‘elf mail’, and no postage stamp is needed. Every child who writes a letter will get a personal reply, to be delivered before Christmas Eve.

A suggested donation of £2 per letter will help raise funds for next year’s carnival week activities.

While there, children can also enjoy wandering through the themed rooms at the Jolly Roger showroom free of charge.

The final posting date for letters to Father Christmas is this Friday, December 15, so hurry up and get that list ready.
