A Newton Abbot funeral director is hosting free talks from a bereavement charity in the New Year.

A series of ‘standalone’ talks called ‘Finding the Way Forward’, by national charity Cruse Bereavement, are being held at Zealley Funeral Service in Devon Square, starting January 24.

A spokesman for the talks said: ‘These talks are open to anyone affected by grief, bereavement or loss.

‘While there is no simple solution to the challenges that bereavement brings, understanding this difficult process can help us to work towards beginning to find a way forward for ourselves or those we know affected by loss.’

Dates scheduled for the talks are Wednesday January 24; Wednesday April 25; Wednesday July 25; and Wednesday October 24.

They start at 6.30pm and finish at 8pm, at Zealley Funeral Service, 17 Devon Square.

The talks are free to attend and include complimentary light refreshments.
