SEVEN of Teignmouth’s prettiest gardens will be open to the public.

They are taking part in the National Gardens Scheme, and can be viewed on Saturday and Sunday, July 25 and 26 from midday to 5pm, in the New Road area.

Previously there have only been three gardens open, but even so last year the open days raised more than £2,500 for charity, and attracted over 300 visitors during the two afternoons. Organisers expect this year to be even better.
