THE Ilsington Community Shop has awarded a grant of £1,500 to the 1st Liverton Scout Group.

Rob White, the group’s leader, thanked the community shop for its generosity and said the grant money would be used to purchase more camping equipment to be able to support the growing numbers.

Next on the agenda for the group is a quiz night, in Ilsington Village Hall on Saturday, November 21 at 7pm, while the Beavers are off to Clip and Climb in Exeter on December 9.

The group will be carol singing at Liverton Post Office on Saturday, December 19, at 10.30am.
