A GROUP of youngsters took direct action to counter a 'dirty' police sign on a main road into Teignmouth.

They thought the prominent Covert Capture Car board at Exeter Road (pictured below) was giving a bad impression to visitors entering the resort.

So members of the Junk Monkey Theatre Company put together their own Welcome to Teignmouth sign in the shape of a beach hut (above), made from a variety of materials including shells, seaweed and bottle tops collected from the beach as an art project.
