AFTER an entertaining dress rehearsal in front of family, friends, visitors and residents of Abbotskerswell, The Chordettes’ ladies close harmony chorus travelled to Harrogate last month to compete in the national competition held by the Ladies’ Association of British Barbershop Singers (LABBS). The chorus sung and performed well, improving on previous years’ scores and rising to a category B chorus in the national competition.
