A TEIGNMOUTH man who used his mobile phone while driving has been banned for six months.

Michael Chidgey, aged 42, of Teignmouth, pleaded guilty to using a mobile phone when he was driving on Kingsteignton Road, Newton Abbot.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court also fined him £151 and ordered him to pay costs of £90 and to pay £60 to fund victim services.
