Captain Joanna Gordon is an inspiration.
The former Knowles Hill School (now college) student is living her dream and has achieved every career goal imaginable.
Starting out as a chef in the Army at 17, she has worked her way up the ranks and now pilots Apache helicopters the only attack helicopter in service in the British Military.
The 39-year-old is one of only a handful of women in the country who can fly the craft and has recently returned from her second posting in Afghanistan.
We caught up with Jo when she returned to south Devon for a family wedding last week.
As we turn up at her parents home in the Torbay area, we are greeted by Jos mother Margaret who is beaming with pride and cant help but tell us some of her daughters great achievements.
