WHEN it comes to art, 16-year-old Sophie More is the tops.
The Coombeshead College sixth former, from Newton Abbot, has just heard she was in the top ten in the country for her art GCSE.
'I was really pleased, and surprised,' said modest Sophie, who wants to be a vet.
She was a star performer in all her GCSEs, gaining nine and a half A*s, one A and two Bs. One of the Bs was for Greek, which she taught herself.
'Now I'm teaching myself A level Greek,' said Sophie, who is also studying biology, chemistry, maths and product design in Coombeshead sixth form.
'I'm really enjoying it,' said Sophie. 'And I'd like to say a big thank you to my art teacher Sian Rogers for helping me do so well in art at GCSE.'
