The search is on for a new graveyard in Ashburton after church officials told councillors they were fast running out of room for new burials.

The parish church, dedicated to St Andrew, is in West Street and its earliest records date back to the 12th century.

The building was largely rebuilt in the 15th century but traces survive from the 1200s.
