AMBITIOUS plans have been unveiled for a £100,000 revamp of Buckfastleigh Sports Club.

Chairman Luke Collins is hoping to inspire the local community to get behind the project so facilities at the Oaklands Road site can be enjoyed by a wider group of townspeople.

He and vice-chairman Richard Jones have already received backing from the town council which has been briefed on the broad outline of the venture which they hope to make a reality in the next few years.
