STAMP collectors in Dawlish were licking their lips when they looked at an international display of stamps at one of their meetings.
The fun and games were had during an eight-sheet competition held by Dawlish stamp club at its annual general meeting.
The group had an upsurge of members in the past 12 months despite the departure of several old faces.
Members heard there had been a slight decrease in revenue from collections due to stamps being submitted for circulation varying in interest and value.
Then a competition was held based on an alphabetical theme with stamps on the subject of Vienna, wildlife, and Zimbabwe.
The winner was John Charlette, with a well- researched and presented collection.
The club's next meeting will be at the Manor on March 12 at 7pm.
