AN ARREST has been made after a stolen caravan (pictured) was found in Ideford outside Newton Abbot yesterday (Jan 24).

Police revealed today that a 26-year-old man from Teignmouth had been detained on suspicion of theft. He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

A tip-off from the public led police to the caravan which had been stolen from Torquay.

PC Phil Johnson said: ‘It’s a relief for us and the owner to find the property undamaged. We will eventually return it to its owner.’
