Daniel Wilson, from Kingsteignton, is celebrating the news he is the Apprentice of the Year at South Devon College.

The 20-year-old, who completed an advanced plumbing course, was presented with the award at the Great Hall, Dartington, last week.

As part of the four-year programme, he has been employed by Tor Homes.

His citation at the ceremony read: 'Daniel has been an exemplary student throughout his four-year programme at South Devon College.

'He has maintained 100 per cent attendance and handed in all of his assignments on time'.
