HUNDREDS of students in Newton Abbot have been rocked by the death of one of their much-loved and respected 'inspirational' young teachers.

Simon Knight, 39, head of philosophy and psychology at Coombeshead Academy, suffered a heart attack on Saturday night.

He was taking part in a roller hockey match at a roller disco in Plymouth when he collapsed.
