BEER and music lovers are in for a treat as Kingskerswell’s popular Summer Moon Festival returns tomorrow.
Punters will be able to sample some of the best beers, wines and ciders on offer while enjoying musical treats from the area’s most talented performers.
The summer festival, which raises cash for local groups, is set to take place on the Parish Meadow from June 21 until 23.
A Night at the Proms concert kick-starts the festivities on Thursday, June 21, with the main beer and music festival on Friday, June 22, and Saturday, June 23.
Gates to the beer and music festival open at 5pm on Friday and 11am on Saturday. Both days finish at 11pm. A large tent filled to the brim with 75 different real ales, 24 ciders and a whole host of wines will be on offer to guests throughout the weekend.
Bands set to blast out tunes over the two day beer and music festival include Men Behaving Badly, Riviera Dogs, The Mighty Sasquatch, Shooting Fish, Signs of Life and Little Green Men.
Other acts which will take to the stage include Map Cap Ponderlings, Witterquick, V Experimental and Ethyrfield.
Since the festival started in 2008 more than £115,000 has been raised for local charities and community groups.
