ACCORDING to a national newspaper Bishopsteignton is one of the best places to live in the UK.

Judges from the Sunday Times visited the Teignbridge  village and looked at schools and transport, broadband speeds and culture, as well as access to green spaces and the health of the high street. 

The judges praised  Bishopsteignton as a suntrap village  and the fact it offers easy access to both Dartmoor and the coast and has  a busy community that knows how to have a good time with its village shop, selection of pubs plus a doctor’s surgery, chemist and a post office, and Teignmouth and Exeter are close at hand for trains and supermarkets.
