DARTMOOR Search and Rescue Ashburton launched its new supporters club, Dart2Zero, at the weekend.

The team opened its doors at the rescue centre. with cream teas being served and guided tours around the specialist vehicles and equipment to thank supporters.

The group, which consists of volunteers who assist the emergency services when people go missing or become injured in remote locations, relies on the public to fund its operations.

It’s not just the money that the team needs the public for, it also need volunteers to help run the service.
