Newton Abbot Hospital League of Friends presented more than £1,000 of medical equipment to the Albany Street Clinic, Newton Abbot, last week. They raised the money through various fundraising events and donations, enabling them to purchase two vital medical kits for the clinic. The kits included thermometers, scales and pulse and blood pressure measuring equipment, all with their own travelling cases, allowing surgery staff to easily transport them to and from patients' homes. League members Linda Mitchell, Pam Towell, Jenny Larcombe, Joan Norman, Carole Hewett, Helen Long and Shirley Underhill proudly present the equipment to the Albany Street case managers Stacey Tranter, Jo Davey and Victoria Goodwin.
