A TOP veterinary team in Abbotskerswell carried out pioneering surgery on Tuesday to remove cataracts from both eyes of a lanner falcon.
Jim Carter and Ian Sayers, partners in the recently-opened Abbotskerswell Veterinary Centre, and a nursing team, performed the operation on three-year-old Enzo, which took two hours from preparation surgery to recovery, and was the first of its kind in the south west, if not in the country.
