TAKE That have surprised everybody by announcing they will be appearing at the Radio 1 Big Weekend at Powderham Castle.

Gary Barlow broke the news today on the Radio 1 Scott Mills breakfast show.

The band, which has been performing for 25 years and consists of Gary, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, will entertain the crowds next weekend at the venue near Dawlish.
