THE TASTE OF SUCCESS: It was smiles all round at Decoy allotments in Newton Abbot, on Saturday, when Cllr Mike Hocking, the town's mayor, opened the Seeds of Success Gardening Club.
A major feature of the club, run by the Newton Abbot allotment association, is a shop selling honey, fresh seasonal produce and gardening equipment.
Cllr Hocking is seen with Emily Colob (left) aged seven, and Megan Lloyd, aged six.
The Barn Owl pub at Kingskerswell donated a £25 meal voucher for two to the person who spent the most in the shop on the first day. This was won by Mrs Jenny Benney.
