A TEIGNMOUTH teacher has been awarded a new qualification aimed at helping children who have difficulties with maths.

Katie Greenwood from Inverteign School was one of 12 teachers from across Devon who were presented with their accreditation for the Numbers Count programme.

She received the qualification from Judith Johnson, Devon's director of learning and schools, at a ceremony at the Tiverton Hotel this week.<
