A KINGSTEIGNTON boy died in Frenchay Hospital, Bristol, on Monday, a week after he fell off his bicycle. Aiden Taylor, aged 13, had been riding in Rydon Road, Kingsteignton, at around 8.30pm on August 22, when he fell off his bike near traffic calming bollards. He suffered serious head injuries and was taken by ambulance to Torbay Hospital. He was later transferred to Frenchay. An inquest on Aiden has been opened and adjourned in Bristol, and will resume in Newton Abbot at a later date. Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident or to anyone who was in the area of the Old Rydon Inn between 8pm and 8.30pm to contact them on 08452 777444, quoting the reference number 969 of 29/08/06.
