FIREFIGHTERS were called in to help an ‘embarrassed’ teenager who became stuck in a swing last night.

The unusual call out saw the Dawlish fire crew alerted to a play park where the young person had attempted to use swings designed for babies and toddlers.

Dawlish firefighters then issued a ‘reminder’ that the baby swings in parks are for ‘babies and babies only’.

A spokesman said: ‘Our crew had to rescue a very embarrassed teenager from the baby swing. ‘Here’s hoping she will think twice before doing it again, stay safe wherever you are.’
