A TEIGNBRIDGE library has joined a nationwide donation campaign of coats.

Chudleigh Library will be a part of this year's campaign, which is being spearheaded by Julian House, a charity that supports vulnerable and at-risk individuals.

A spokesman for Chudleigh Library said: 'As winter draws nearer, we want to help everyone in our community to stay warm.

'That's why we will be setting up a community coat rail in the library for anyone in need to take a free coat to keep you warm through the winter months!

'If you have any coats, blankets, hats, scarves, gloves or other warm clothing that you'd be willing to donate to the community coat rail, please bring them in to the library during opening hours.

'Your contributions will go a long way in helping those in need within our community, keeping them warm this winter.

'Thank you for your generosity and kindness!'
