Haldon Hill is open to light traffic in both directions, Highways England confirmed this morning, although no heavy vehicles are allowed access.

Reports have been made that nearly 250 vehicles were stranded after Telegraph Hill section of the A380 was closed at 3pm yesterday. The closure extended to Eagle Farm at Kingsteignton.

Some claimed to have been stuck on the hill for seven hours.
